Heineken is a beer brewing company that operates on the market under several brands. The factory located in the Czech Republic produces the Krusovice beer brand. The storage area of this building where the finished products are located is 2,280m².

The Challenge

Avoid condensation on stored bottles due to a strong humidity level +80% inside the storage area.

Condensation occurs when the bottles come out of the production line at 12ºC and arrive in the storage room at an ambient temperature of 30ºC in summer.

Condensation causes labels to be damaged and come off generating a loss of quality in the products.

The Solution

Heineken decided to install HVLS fans to cover this area following Magnovent’s proposal.

All the system works automatically by measuring the room’s temperature and humidity with sensors. A BMS system controls the operation of the fans and the air renewals.

Humidity dropped down by 20% on the room and the labels remain dry and do not come off.
