Reaching the comfort temperature in winter and summer for industrial buildings, public buildings with high ceilings or offices is very important to guarantee the workers productivity or visitors well-being.
Magnovent’s HVLS fans have achieved modifying the preset temperature of the heating system in winter and the air-conditioning in summerto save energy in high ceilings buildings. Despite this, occupants comfort hasn’t been modified.
In winter, in public or industrial buildings with heating, industrial ceiling fans homogenize temperature by lowering the hot air in the upper coats. Consequently, the ground air temperature is increased. The radiant heating system of Magnovent heats the required areas instantly, avoiding the need to wait to reach a comfort temperature in logistics centres, terraces, workshops, stadiums…
In summer, air movement absence in buildings creates a very high thermal sensation in their occupants because of the greenhouse effect. Using HVLS fans, we attend a high number of air changes per hour which creates a breeze that modifies the thermal sensation between 2 and 6ºC lower.

The main problem that appears while climating industrial warehouses or buildings with high ceilings is that the hot air is located in the upper coats instead of being located in the lower coats, where occupants are located.
The air heatings takes long time to be effective.
Thanks to the HVLS fans which homogenize the building temperature and the radiant heating which heats instantly the desired areas, the comfort temperature is reached much faster.
COMFORT IN SUMMER
The main problem that appears in industrial warehouses or buildings with high ceilings is that the stagnant air generated by the greenhouse effect causes occupants discomfort.
Thanks to the HVLS fans which create a breeze effect in the building occupants, the thermal sensation is reduced between 2 and 6ºC. Adding our ceramic paint, 95% of the UV rays are reflected and the ceiling overheating is consequently avoided. The automated windows allow evacuating the internal heat.
